Professor Andrew Clark's Inaugural Lecture

On 9th May 2018, WIHEA and the Department of Chemistry jointly hosted the Inaugural Lecture of Professor Andrew Clark to celebrate his recent appointment as Professorial Teaching Fellow.

Titled 'The Life and Times of a Radical Chemist', the lecture focused on key people, influences, inspiration, problems and solutions experienced during his career to date. It highlighted his scientific achievements and their benefits as well as how his research experience has influenced his teaching. In particular, how the student experience can be improved and the importance of listening to the student voice.

Andrew's career and contribution to teaching excellence at Warwick was celebrated by both Professors Gwen van der Velden and David Lamburn at the beginning of the lecture.
