Digital Development Pathways for Staff

Project Description

This project seeks to empower University of Warwick staff with key digital skills. Leveraging the JISC Digital Capability Framework, we will assess and identify digital skill gaps among teaching staff across WMG as a pilot area, using findings from the project to create a development pathway to enable expansion into other departments. The work is carried out in partnership with FOLD and IDG and it will utilise co-creation with students.

Objectives

The objectives of this project are:

  • Identify the gaps in digital capability of staff by identifying the area of development using the JISC discovery tool.
  • Identify the appropriate LinkedIn learning (LiL) and Microsoft learning resources for filling the gaps.
  • Design a development pathway for staff that is adaptable to the University’s goals, the departments requirements and the individual’s needs.
  • Develop the skills development pathway for professional and teaching staff applicable across faculties.
