SPIA Award success

Inca Hide-Wright, MASc Student in Community, Engagement and Belonging and WIHEA Student Fellow 2023-24, has received a national award for her contributions to the student community.

The Student Partnership Impact Award, awarded by the Staff and Educational Development Association (SEDA) in collaboration with Jisc, recognises the work of students who have made a significant impact on educational development, celebrating student-staff partnership activities that demonstrate mutual respect, value and collaboration to enhance higher education.

Inca has been recognised with this award for her work as a WIHEA Student Fellow and her significant contributions to several WIHEA-funded projects (Designing Together; Belonging Project; Leadership for Educational Transformation [LET; Ukraine]). Inca is a proactive change agent, who demonstrates educational leadership across all the projects she is involved with. She is an inclusive, inspirational and innovative student leader. Inca promotes opportunities for student/staff partnerships and her work has played a significant role in shaping discussions within WIHEA.

This award recognises her ongoing contribution to the role of staff/student partnerships both at Warwick and beyond.
