WIHEA Showcase Event - Funded Project Update
Please join us for a dissemination and networking event, in which our WIHEA Fellows update us on the status of two of our funded projects.
Firstly, Rebecca Freeman (DoS) discusses her further work on ‘Empowering Authentic Student Voices in a Disciplinary and Interdisciplinary Context’, examining how the project has contributed to broadening discussions about the perception of student voice in higher education. She unpacks the results of a staff-student survey, analysing the ways that students are able to apply and develop their voices, and considers the role of the voice in relation to belonging and engagement.
Then, Jess Humphreys (ADC) and Lucy Chilvers (University of Brighton) discuss ‘Course Design and Digital Learning Approaches’, a project exploring the potential role of technology within the course design process. It aims to identify and map tools that may be useful in the design process, and explore the next steps for this research.

The event will take place on Tuesday 9 May, 12:00-13:30, location TBC – to register, please click here or respond to your calendar invite.
