New Centre for Belonging in Higher Education starting to take shape!

Dr Tom Ritchie and Inca Hide-Wright (University of Warwick), co-leads of the WIHEA Building Belonging Project and Learning Circle, are seeking interest from students, researchers, academics, professional services, practitioners, and organisations from across the HE Sector in helping to launch a new Centre for Belonging in Education: Research, Practice, and Policy.

The Centre will connect members across three interconnected hubs: Research, Practice, and Policy, with the shared aim of enhancing and advancing belonging in higher education.

We are currently finalising the Centre’s operational structure and will be advertising leadership roles in the coming months. The first activity will be a collaborative online session for participants to connect, share ideas, and co-develop the strategic priorities and vision for the Centre’s first five years.

The Centre already has support from Advance HE, HEPI, WONKHE, AMOSSHE, GuildHE, as well as University of Leeds, University of Exeter, University of Hull, University of Westminster, Middlesex University, Duke University, Monash University, Elon University, and others.
