WIHEA/IATL Project workshop: Identifying barriers for staff engagement with pedagogic resources that promote the embedding of wellbeing in the curriculum

- Export as iCalendar
Location: Teaching Grid

A plethora of resources, such as the Warwick Wellbeing Pedagogies and the AdvanceHE Education of Mental Health Toolkit, has recently been developed to support universities and staff in embedding wellbeing and student mental health in the curriculum, providing ideas for curriculum design and planning. Nevertheless, it is difficult to evaluate the impact of these resources as well as their effective uptake from staff.

We would like to invite staff to participate in a workshop at Warwick, led by Warwick and King's College London colleagues and students, to discuss engagement with wellbeing pedagogic resources, to explore potential barriers to engagement. This project will support further development of existing resources but also the creation of future guides/toolkits that aim at ameliorating teaching practices across the inclusive education realm.
