Alain Perusset (Research Fellow)

Doctor in Social Sciences and Communication Studies, with academic background in linguistics and French literature, I am a specialist in semiotics and socio-semiotics. My research focuses on the meaning-making processes of identities and practices within culture, as well as in the context of consumption and brand management.

Areas of interest

Semiotics of objects, practices and cultures; narrative, tensive and categorial semiotics; sociology of (post)modernity and consumption; brand management, brand architecture and nation branding.
