Education Fund 2025/26 call now open
The Education Fund, jointly supported by IATL and WIHEA, has opened the 2025/26 funding call. We are seeking innovative staff-led projects that promote student engagement in the curriculum. Staff can apply for a two-year strategic project or one year of seed funding to test ideas. The websiteLink opens in a new window has full details, with applications due 23 May and 30 June.
IATL Staff-Student Presentation at LSE
Vivan Joseph (IATL Teaching Fellow) and Olivia Gunn (final year, Warwick Psychology with Education) will be giving a presentation on IATL's Research-Infused Curriculum at the 2025 Interdisciplinary Teaching and Learning Conference at the LSE on Thursday 10th April.Link opens in a new window Their talk will showcase IATL's approach to infusing research into our curriculum, from interdisciplinary teaching and learning to student research for assessments through to the presentation of that research to a wider audience.

Launch of Three New IATL Modules for 2025/26
IATL will be launching three new interdisciplinary modules for 2025/26 on the topics of Migration and Borders, Social Entrepreneurship and Global Connections. These new modules have been designed to provide students with the tools and experiences to approach complex problems and come up with innovative ideas and solutions through a robustly supported research experience and IATL’s innovative assessment methods
New IATL Publication Explores PGR Students' Wellbeing and Loneliness Experiences and Issues
IATL Professor Elena Riva, together with Professor Louise Gracia (Warwick Business School) and Dr Jennifer Stead (City, University of London & St George’s), has published a paper that contributes to the understanding of postgraduate researchers’ (PGR) experiences of wellbeing and loneliness, also investigating the effectiveness of university interventions. Prof Elena Riva Keynote Speaker at the Djøf's Trivselsalliance Wellbeing Conference

Her address will offer strategic insights to inform and enhance approaches to wellbeing within higher education institutions across Denmark.

Launch of WIHEA/IATL Interdisciplinary Staff Hub
We are pleased to announce the launch of that WIHEA/IATL Interdisciplinary Staff Hub that features case studies on interdisciplinary teaching and learning from across the University.
