The Babysitter

InDepth are a company of past and present Warwick University students, who took their award-winning production, The Babysitter, to this year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The production was performed everyday in the Pleasance Courtyard and was a debut hit, selling out multiple shows, gaining 4 star reviews from ThreeWeeks and Broadway Baby magazines and even being named in the Top 10 things to see at the Courtyard by FringeReview. The show is a new 60-minute family comedy with a lot of laughs and a big heart that centres on a family with a young child, who suffers from epilepsy. The production shows the different attitutes we have towards the issue of epilepsy and indeed towards those whom we love. InDepth raised awareness of epilepsy at the Fringe on behalf of Epilepsy Action UK and also raised money for Waverley Care, the official Pleasance charity of this year's Fringe. If you missed the show, you can catch performances of it at Bedales School in Hampshire on Tuesday 10th September 2013 or in London at the New Diorama Theatre on Great Portland Street at the end of this year.
