Fool's Gold

fools_gold_image.jpg

Fool’s Gold explores the role of imagination when navigating through the moral maze of life. It deals with issues behind organ donation and the struggles of those on the waiting list. Grim hospital walls are replaced by an eerie fairytale forest, for this is how our heroine sees the world. We will use innovative set design, dance and masks to make the forest come alive and urge audiences to join the quest for a heart. Therefore in the current economic climate, the play is relevant when considered alongside potential NHS cuts that would be detrimental to organ donation. The central issue of organ donation is close to my heart and I want to encourage everyone to join the register through this play.

Final Performances were held on Monday 28th February, Tuesday 1st March and Wednesday 2nd March 2012.
