About
I am Lily, a fourth-year Politics and International Studies student at the University of Warwick. I am excited to be involved in ICUR this year because it provides a supportive, international, and interdisciplinary platform for students to not only develop their skills and confidence in research and presenting, but also to share exciting new ideas with the world. My research interests lie in global gender inequality and how women’s issues are analysed in the realms of conflict, security, development, and international governance. I have recently completed a funded research project on feminist foreign policy, which I am building on in my final year dissertation. During my time at university, I have also held the role of President of Warwick Think Tank – I am looking forward to continuing to bring students together around innovative research and ideas as Student Director of ICUR this year.
