WISI one-day workshop- 2 July 2008
A university-wide workshop was held to develop research themes for the Initiative to pursue over the 2008/09 academic year. Further information and presentations on Food Security, Organisational Resilience, Energy Security, and Digital Media and Security is now available.
Social Studies Security Away Day- 4th June 2008
Bringing together knowledge within the Social Studies faculty: A pre-emptive event on Security Studies ahead of the University-wide event to be held on 2nd July.
Tony Campbell - Institute of Advanced Study Visiting Fellow; May 2008
Tony Cambell visted Warwick as an Institute of Advanced Study Visiting Fellow in the first two weeks of May 2008. Tony had a distinguished career in diplomatic and public service, and he was an internationally recognized authority on regulatory policy and regulatory reform before becoming responsible, as Executive Director, for foreign intelligence analysis at Canada’s cabinet office.
His visit was hosted by Chris Grey of Warwick Business School and co-hosted by Andrew Sturdy (WBS) and Richard Aldrich (PAIS)
