If you are a University of Warwick student or employee please use this per diem claim form, other items should be submitted via Concur.

The living allowance is 75 euros per day per beamline user — the equivalent actually reimbursed in pounds sterling.

In the section ''Details of expenditures'', write 'XMaS living allowance’ and €75 multiplied by the number of days on the experiment (receipts are not necessary). Please also include a scan of your travel arrangement such as your e-ticket as proof of dates.

The €75 living allowance covers accommodation at the ESRF guesthouse and all food.

XMaS will support up to 3 (and in extremis 4) users per experiment. This is not a restriction on the number of experimentalists, but you should make your own budgetary arrangements for those in excess of 3.

All other travel expenses (including those that are visa related) can be claimed with receipts. Please note that we
do not accept bank statements as proof of payment.

The exchange rate from the University of WarwickLink opens in a new window is calculated from the first day of the experiment.

For anyone with a non-UK bank account, please download and attach the 'foreign bank account details form'.

Please leave the section below 'Expenditure Codes' blank. Send the signed claim form with the relevant travel receipts to us.

NB: This claim should not be used for an ESRF experiment. ESRF covers all the expenses (travel, accommodation, meals) during public beam time. For more information click HERELink opens in a new windowLink opens in a new windowLink opens in a new window.
