Wishbone Joints Arrive From EOS
The Wishbone Joints have arrived from EOS!
These are sintered Titanium joints, which interface with carbon fibre tubing used for the wishbones arms and rose-joint bearings which interface with the uprights.
We have yet to machine the bearing housing to size, after which we can assemble our very smart, very light wishbones.
Assembly Progress
Although exams are looming, progress is still being made with the car. We have assembled the corners of the car and fitted them with a spare set of wheels. This is the first time we have put the car on the floor. We were shocked with how low it was, and how much visibility the driver has. It has been great to finally see our design come togeather so well.
