Biography

Mostafa Kheshti (Senior Member, IEEE) was a power system engineer at the Regional Dispatching Centre in Shiraz, Iran. He was an associate professor of power systems at Shandong University, China, from 2018-2021. He joined the University of Warwick as a Research Fellow in 2021. Currently, Dr. Kheshti is an Assistant Professor at the School of Engineering, University of Warwick. His research interests are the renewable energy-based ancillary services, power system modelling, control and stability.

He is a recipient of the following awards:

  • Future Young Talent Scholar award, Shandong University, China, 2019
  • Best Paper Award at IEEE PES Asia Pacific Power and Energy Engineering Conference, China, 2016
  • 3rd prize of Best Conference paper award at IET 8th Renewable Power Generation Conference, Shanghai, China, 2019
  • Outstanding International Student in China in year 2016 from Chinese Scholarship Council, 2016.
