BMEI: The Biomedical Engineering Institute
The Biomedical Engineering Institute (BMEI) is a Centre that brings together broad research capabilities in the School of Engineering, and beyond, in the field of biomedical engineering. Staff at BMEI work on a breadth of cross-cutting problems underpinning real-world applications in the field of biomedicine, across a spectrum of perspectives from fundamental science to technological device development.
Centre for Doctoral Training: Deployment of Future Mobility Technologies
This doctoral training centre within the School of Engineering focuses on the future of mobility technologies focusing on elements of engineering including; power electronics, Systems and controls, wide Bandgap device design, machine intelligence and data science.
HetSys: EPRSC CDT in Modelling of Heterogeneous Systems
HetSys is an EPSRC-supported centre for Doctoral Training recruiting from physical sciences, mathematics and engineering. Hetsys trains scientist to challenge current state-of-the-art in computational modelling of heterogenous real word systems across a range of research themes such as nanoscales devices, new catalysts, superalloys, smart fluids and space plasmas.
FDRC: Fluid Dynamics Research Centre
he Fluid Dynamics Research Centre (FDRC), established in 1996, is a unifying centre for researchers in Fluid Dynamics across all departments of the University of Warwick. The FDRC organises a programme of seminars, workshops, conferences and other meetings. Aiming to promote and carry out collaborative interdisciplinary research, facilitating exchange of expertise and sharing of technology in relevant disciplines, including Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and the School of Life Sciences.
WCPM: Warwick Centre for Predictive Modelling
The Warwick Centre for Predictive Modelling (WCPM) is an interdisciplinary research centre focussed on providing a framework for the application of predictive modelling and uncertainty quantification (UQ) tools in science and engineering research. The Centre runs an MSc course in Predictive Modelling and Scientific Computing. These mathematical tools provide a powerful new way of thinking about how to model complex systems and how to translate research outcomes into improved technology and design.

Warwick Integrative Synthetic Biology Centre (WISB) delivers an integrated, internationally leading programme of research, innovation and training for synthetic biology. Research areas include biosynthetic engineering, Microbial communities and effector systems, predictive biosystems and ethical, legal and societal aspects.
Water for Development Community of Practice (WaDeCoP)
WaDeCoP is an interdisciplinary initiative focused on advancing water education, research, and innovation. It integrates diverse fields such as engineering, science, health, finance, sociology and governance to deliver graduate training and collaborative research.
