Biography

Paolo Melillo was born in Naples, Italy, on June 29, 1985. He received the M.Sc. degree (Hons.) in 2008 in biomedical engineering and the Ph.D. degree in 2012 from the University of Naples “Federico II” Naples. He is Assistant Professor at the Multidisciplinary Department of Medical, Surgical and Dental Sciences of the Second University of Naples, Naples, Italy. He has authored or coauthored about 40 journal and conference papers in the fields of data mining applied to health information, health management, telemedicine, and signal and image processing. Dr. Melillo is a member of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, the Italian Association of Medical and Biological Society, the International Federation of Medical and Biological Society, and the Italian Mathematical Union
