HetSys Industry Study Group 2022

HetSys is pleased to announce that it will be running a second Industry Study Group, in partnership with the Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN).

Study Groups with industry have been running for over fifty years and, having started with pioneering work in the UK in the 1960s, these groups now take place all over the world in a huge variety of shapes and sizes. They have been hugely successful in solving problems and providing insight for various organisations. Building on the successful sessions of 2017, 2019 and virtually in 2020, HetSys and KTN are delighted to host this event for a multidisciplinary research audience of HetSys PhD students and their supervisors, academics and associated colleagues.

The format of the event is simple: representatives from Industry will present their problems (challenges) to the audience who will then break into groups to work together over the next three days to code, model, and sketch solutions to the problems. The group will meet again at the end of the three days to share their ideas, proposed solutions and feed back.

The event will be held in person, in Scarman House on the University of Warwick campus. Sign up here!
