HetSys Happenings

Call for ‘HetSys Happenings’ 2024/25

This call is for 1-3 day events, for example workshops, mini-conferences or hackathons, in the remit of the HetSys CDT.
Events should be held on campus at Warwick during the 2024/25 academic year.
Up to £15k is available for each event, and up to a maximum of 3 events will be supported. All proposals will be ranked by the HetSys management team against these criteria:

    1. Feasibility of the proposed event and likelihood of attracting a diverse range of invitees/attendees.

    2. Alignment of the event with HetSys themes and other activities.
    3. Potential for follow-on activities including cross-departmental/interdisciplinary PhD projects and larger scale research projects.

Deadline: 31st July 2024

Co-organisers can be academic/research staff including PDRAs/fellowship holder; at least one, ideally interdisciplinary/cross-departmental.

Workshops should be held within 2024/25 academic year.
