  2. Students can take no more than 150 CATS of FHEQ Level 4 modules (i.e. UG Level 1) over their full programme of study.
  3. Students can take no more than 30 CATS of FHEQ Level 4 modules after year 1.
  4. Students must pass at least 90 CATS of FHEQ Level 6 or higher modules during their full programme of study (likely to all be taken in year 3).
Note that the pass mark for modules at FHEQ Levels 4,5,6 is 40% and the pass mark for modules at FHEQ Level 7 (UG level 4) is 50%.

To progress from year 1 to year 2, students must

  1. Pass all required core modules
  2. Achieve an overall year average greater than or equal to 40
  3. Pass 90 CATS of modules at FHEQ Level 4

To progress from year 2 to year 3 of the BSc, students must

  1. Achieve an overall year average greater than or equal to 40
  2. Pass 90 CATS of modules at FHEQ Level 5

To graduate with a BSc Honours degree at the end of year 3 of G100, students must:

  2. Achieve an overall (three-year) weighted average greater than or equal to 40 (using the year weightings describe in degree programmes)
  3. Pass 90 CATS of modules at FHEQ Level 6 or higher.

Instead of an Honours degree, a Pass degree is awarded if

  1. the number of modules passed at FHEQ Level 6 or higher is less than 90 but greater than or equal to 60
  2. the overall (three-year) average, using the year weightings described in degree programmes) is greater than or equal to 35.
