Celebrating women in STEM on Ada Lovelace Day

18th October 2023

Today was the University of Warwick's annual Ada Lovelace Day, celebrating the achievements of women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. There were talks by four inspirational women in STEM: Sophie Battrick, Pricing Manager at Aviva, Zhana Kuncheva, Director of Health Data Science at Optima Partners, Charlotte Roman, Machine Learning Engineer at Deliveroo and Jo Evans, WZL Assistant Professor at Warwick Mathematics Institute.

All four of our speakers gave inspiring talks about their journeys with mathematics, statistics and data science, explaining how they use these skills in their working lives, and what their day-to-day experience looks like.
