Warwick success at the International Mathematics Competition!
A team of five Warwick students are celebrating after a fantastic showing at this year's International Mathematics Competition (IMC).
Warwick's team came 49th overall, thanks to the efforts of:
- Hong Son Duong (52 points, Second Prize)
- Daniel Lang (32 points, Third Prize)
- Yit Jet Wong (29 points, Honourable Mention)
- Tom Mackay (27 points, Honourable Mention)
- Zachary Smuckler (27 points, Honourable Mention)
This year's IMC took place from 28 July - 3 August 2025 in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria. There were 434 participants from 74 teams - the full results can be found on the IMC websiteLink opens in a new window.
The team leader was Jan Kus, while the team's selection and training was done by Ittihad Hasib, Jan Kus, Oleg Pikhurko and Jun Yan. Our congratulations to the team member on their good results and effort!
