About Me

Hello! I am Tim Brazier, a PGR student in my first year of a PhD. My research is in Computational Birational Algebraic Geometry under the supervision of Prof Gavin BrownLink opens in a new window. I will be able to share more about my specific research interests as the project develops over time. At the moment, I am think about intersecting planes in wP^5, and unprojecting them.

Although my research will be Algebraic Geometry, I also enjoy many other areas of maths, so please feel free to tell me about your interesting problems if you see me around and think I might be interested!

From 2020-2024, I undertook a MMath at Loughborough University, achieving a first class. I also won the MMath Progression Prize in my 3rd year, and the MMath Finalist Prize and Project Prize in my final year.
