Tommaso Faustini

Hi there! I am a first year PhD student interested in algebraic geometry, algebriac number theory and connections between them. My supervisors are Damiano Testa and Christian Boehning.

I cherish the moments spent with my friends, a remarkable group of mathematicians who provide not only a boundless source of inspiration but also a reliable shoulder to lean on. Our shared love for mathematics, and for beer, fuels our conversations and deepens our bonds.

After a trial organized by the professor Pietro Majer.

Education

I obtained my bachelor's degree from Univeristà di Pisa (Italy), where I wrote my bachelor's thesis about Elliptic curves with complex multiplication and class field theory, supervised by Davide Lomabardo. I continued my master's studies at the same university, doing a 6-month Erasmus at Université Paris Cité (France). I wrote my master's thesis about Hopf Galois theory supervised by Ilaria Del Corso.
