Elliot Kimbrough-Perry

Me at home with Gwen, one of my two guinea pigs.

Hello!

I'm a 2nd year PhD student under the supervision of Tim Austin. My work has to do with problems in the intersection of ergodic theory and representation theory; I am otherwise interested in differential geometry/topology. I grew up in upstate New York, and spent time living in New England and New York City (three and a half years each) before coming to the UK.

Teaching experience

In the United States: Four terms teaching university calculus and remedial precalculus (Fall 2022, Spring 2023, Summer 2023, and Fall 2023). I supported students mathematically as a peer tutor for all of 2019, and again in Spring 2021 and Spring 2024.

At Warwick: TA for Rings & modules (Spring 2025), marking work for Calculus I and Measure Theory (Spring and Summer 2025, respectively), supervisor for three groups of first year dual-degree students (Fall 2025).
