Elena Maini

Hi! I am a first-year PhD student under the supervision of Sean EberhardLink opens in a new window.

I am mainly interested in group theory (in particular, I have worked on groups acting on trees and on growth problems in infinite and finite groups), but I also like combinatorics, algebra, probability, and general topology. Perhaps the most explanatory thing I can say is that there is no branch of mathematics that does not fascinate me for some reason :)

I like playing and watching sports (especially volleyball) and I love travelling (especially with good friends).
