Andreas Mountakis
I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, University of
Crete, Greece. My mentor there is Nikos FrantzikinakisLink opens in a new window.
I did my PhD at Warwick Mathematics Institute. I received my PhD on September 2024. My PhD supervisor was Joel MoreiraLink opens in a new window.
From May 2022 until June 2024 I was one of the organizers of the Dynamics and Groups Geometry (DAGGERLink opens in a new window) seminar.
Research Interests: Ergodic theory, topological dynamics and applications of the previous to Ramsey theory and combinatorial number theory. Multiplicative number theory.
