Pietro Wald

I am a fourth year PhD student under the supervision of Prof. David Bate.

I expect to complete my PhD by October 2026 and am currently seeking postdoctoral opportunities.

Research interests

My main research interest lies in the geometry of, and analysis on, metric spaces.

Specific topics include PI spaces, Lipschitz differentiability spaces, rectifiability and geometric measure theory, and metric currents. More recently, I've also become interested in embeddability problems, Banach space geometry, and the Ribe programme.
