I am a research fellow in Tom Montenegro-Johnson's group, working on understanding hydrogels: soft, squishy materials formed from a hydrophilic polymer scaffold surrounded by adsorbed water molecules. My background is in fluid mechanics and I'm generally interested in slow viscous flows, porous media flows and poroelasticity. Before Warwick, I completed a PhD in DAMTP at the University of Cambridge with Grae Worster.
