# Software

Below there is information on Matlab, Maple, Mathematica, DStool. Some other useful information and information on packages such as Macaulay (alg geom), Quicktime, Acrobat Reader (provided by a number of people) can be found in **software-hitlest **

**MATLAB**

Matlab runs on most Unix and linux machines. A short tutorial on Matlab can be found on **Igor Kozin's Matlab Tutorial**

**Maple**

Maple runs on most Unix and linux machines. A short tutorial on Maple can be found on **pdf **, **ps **or **html **format. There is also an example of a Maple worksheet that was used in the Financial Mathematics MSc in **html**** **format.

**Mathematica**

Mathematica runs on most machines. A short mathematica worksheet written by Igor Kozin can be found on **worksheet **.

**DSTOOL**

DSTOOL is a program to analyse dynamical systems.
