Women in Mathematical Sciences Day
The Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Sciences department are delighted to announce this year's 'Celebrating Women in the Mathematical Sciences' event, which will be held on:
12 May 2023 in MS.03 at 12:00
The event will highlight research conducted by female researchers in the mathematical sciences.
There will be sandwiches in the Street afterwards - all members of staff, as well as Warwick UG and PG students are welcome!
Call:
We are looking for short 2-3 minutes contributions presenting the work of female researchers in the mathematics, statistics, computer science and data science. This can be Warwick researchers presenting their own work, or presentations of important contributions of female colleagues from all over the world. All talks should be aimed at a general audience, take no longer than 3 minutes with as few equations and slides as possible.
