Mathematics Research Centre
Mathematics Research Centre
Welcome to the Mathematics Research Centre. The MRC is a national resource, whose mission is to promote mathematical sciences research across the UK and internationally. We’re a hub of events all year-round and a place where mathematicians can collaborate – something we’ve championed and facilitated ever since the University of Warwick itself was established.
Our events
The MRC calendar is always busy, with a host of one-off workshops and conferences throughout the year, as well as Seminars, Colloquia, and MIR@W (Mathematical Interdisciplinary Research at Warwick) Days. See what’s on offer and how you can attend.
Visit us
If you're due on campus for one of our events or to meet with some of our staff, please check out our visitor information, which includes directions, details about Wi-Fi access, and useful contacts within the MRC for you to be aware of before you join us.
MRC History
The MRC's history is rich and almost as long as the University's itself. Discover our story, as well as lots of details about our famous Maths Houses - the Grade II* listed buildings that are used as accommodation for visiting academics.
