All funded CDT students are provided with a generous Research Training Support Grant (RTSG) worth £5,000 for the duration of their PhD. This currently includes:

• Provision of a laptop for the duration of the PhD programme (purchased by the department)*
• Up to £2,000 towards conferences, workshops and summer schools cost*
• Up to £2,000 towards study visits*
