Find the right type of visit for you
It’s really important to visit and explore your future university before you apply, so you can be sure that you’re making the right choice. That’s why we have put together a range of online and in-person options to help you discover more about your course, visit campus and get a sense of life at Warwick.
We are located in the Zeeman Building, in the heart of campus.
Undergraduate Open Days
Undergraduate Open Days are many people’s first visit to campus, and are large events that allow you to experience the entire university – as well as meet with current students, explore our courses, and get real sense of life at Warwick.
During these Open Days you’ll be able to join us in the Mathematics Department for three key sessions: Maths at Warwick information sessions, Maths: Beautiful and useful – which explore the research topics of some of our academic staff, and a new Admissions Test workshop to help you prepare for the TMUA, MAT, or STEP exams.
Offer Holder Open Days
As the name suggests, these are specific events for our offer holders and are designed to acquaint you with the Mathematics Institute and give you a taste of life as a Warwick maths student. These events give you the opportunity to meet our staff, ask questions about your course and campus life, and talk to current students.
Our sessions may include taster lectures, Maths Supervisions and interactive panel sessions.
Booking for these events is through invitation only. Mathematics offer holders should receive an invitation to attend an Offer Holder Open Day shortly after receiving their offer letters.
Live Chats
The University regularly runs online Live Chats where you can meet current students and staff, and ask your questions about studying at Warwick. At certain times of year, we also run maths-specific versions of these events.
If you want to find out more about what life as a Warwick maths student is like then why not ask some of our students directly? We have a number of maths students as part of the team of student ambassadors representing Warwick on UniBuddy, and you can use that platform to explore blog content written by them, as well as connect directly for one-to-one conversations about anything and everything to do with studying maths here.
Virtual Tour
You can explore our home – the Zeeman Building – and the rest of campus from the comfort of your own home with our virtual, 360 tours. The Zeeman tour shows you our large lectures theatres, supervision areas, and communal spaces. Then, on the wider campus tour you can:
- Watch student videos on landmarks and buildings
- Explore the Warwick campus both from above and from the ground
- See spaces such as study, accommodation, and wellbeing
