Meet the team
Warwick Evidence is an academic research group in the Division of Health Sciences, Warwick Medical School. We undertake evidence synthesis on the clinical and cost effectiveness of a wide range of health and social care interventions for a range of organisations, including The Department of Health and Social Care and The Department for Education.
We are one of twelve Technology Assessment Report teams across the country who undertake Technology Assessment Reports (TARs) for the NIHR Evidence Synthesis Programme on behalf of the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE). The team provides NICE with essential information to support their decisions on whether to recommend technologies (drugs, other treatments, devices and diagnostics) for use within the NHS.
Warwick Evidence brings together experts in clinical and cost-effectiveness reviewing, information science, health economics, epidemiology, social science, public health, screening and diagnostics, medical statistics and modelling. The multidisciplinary team works collaboratively across several departments at the University of Warwick and is supported by clinical and methodological advisors at local, national and international level.
The Advisory Group is a locally instigated arrangement to provide the Warwick Evidence with independent oversight, support and advice. The Advisory Group is governed by its agreed terms of reference.
