Anna's interests include literature search methodology and the role of information specialists in supporting evidence-based healthcare.

Biography

Anna graduated from Loughborough University with a Masters in Information and Library Studies in 2001, and has been a Chartered Member of CILIP: the Library and Information Association since 2004. She has worked in libraries and information services in the academic, government and legal sectors in the UK, New Zealand and Ireland. Her career in health information began at Warwick Medical School in 2010, when she worked on two web-based collections 'NHS Evidence - emergency & urgent care' and 'NHS Evidence - diabetes'. From October 2010 until joining Warwick Evidence in 2019, Anna worked for the Clinical Evidence Based Information Service (CEBIS) at University Hospital in Coventry. This involved in-depth literature searching and identification of relevant evidence in response to queries raised by colleagues from across the NHS Trust. She worked closely with clinical teams, in particular the Eye Department.
