Biography

Dr Dan Todkill splits his time as a clinical academic at Warwick Medical School and as a consultant in Public Health Medicine for the UK Health Security Agency. At Warwick, Dan is the Associate Medical Director of Warwick Evidence, the Public Health Theme for the West Midlands Applied Research Collaboration and the Impact Director for the Division of Health Sciences. He has an extensive teaching portfolio, leading modules in 'epidemiology and statistics' and 'infection: outbreak prevention and control' In his Consultant in Public Health role he has extensive experience of providing epidemiological support to outbreak investigations caused by a diverse group of pathogens and delivering near-real time epidemiological analysis of a suite of syndromic surveillance sources. His personal research interests are Data Science, Syndromic Surveillance, and Evidence Synthesis.
