Have you thought about trying something new in your teaching next academic year?

What can you do in the Teaching Grid?

Hold a teaching session in a different location. Our flexible space accommodates up to 98 seated or 112 open space format. As well as tables and chairs, you can have soft seating. There are multiple projector screens, and you can divide the space into different activity areas using curtains and glass screens.

You can book a range of technologies to use in your sessions, including ResponseWare (PRS), SMART Boards, iPads and iMacs – all with support available if you need it.

You’re also welcome to use the Collaboration Area for practicing techniques and technologies before you try them out on your students.

While in the Teaching Grid, you can work with our Academic Support Librarians to support students’ research and information skills in your sessions, or make use of our Library resources including material from our special collections.

Did you know you can also get involved with the teaching community through the peer-led Window on Teaching programme and discover how other teachers at Warwick have used technology and space to explore new teaching methods through the Warwick Innovative Teaching database?

We’re taking bookings now for this coming academic year and the following year, and would love to talk to you about how you could use the Teaching Grid.

If you are able to drop in and see us anytime between 12:00 and 14:00 on Thursday 15th September, please email S.A.Locke-Wheaten@warwick.ac.uk so that we can organise lunch for you.
