Learning resource development workshops
The conceptualisation work will be low tech and paper based. Laptops will be available for those who progress to building their resource. H5P interactive content in Moodle gives us an easy to use common starting point for building resources. This doesn’t mean we are excluding other tools from these sessions so please keep an open mind and we can discuss the pros and cons of the tools available.
- Thursday 17 January 2-4pm (MTC MD0.07)
- Tuesday 26 February 2-4pm (MTC MD0.06)
ABC design workshops
Based on student-centred rapid curriculum development model (ABC design UCL). Using a game format, teams are able to work together to create a visual “storyboard” outlining the type and sequence of learning activities (both online and offline) required to meet an identified set of intended learning outcomes.
- Thursday 31 January 2-4pm (MTC MD1.11)
- Thursday 14 March 11:45 - 13:45pm (MTC MD0.07)
Virtual patient workshops
Similar game format to the ABC design workshop, teams are able to work together to create a visual “storyboard” outlining the type and sequence of learning activities (narrative and decision making) required to create a virtual patient that meets an identified set of intended learning outcomes. This process can be applied to other decision making scenarios so your ideas don't need to be limited to medical cases.
