Steve Boyd
My research interests are centered on the physics of neutrinos. I have been involved in many neutrino experiments during the last six years in the field. I am currently working o nthe T2K experiment, the first of the new neutrino superbeam experiments, which is designed to measure the last unknown element of the lepton mixing matrix. I am interested in studying the kinematics of neutrino interactions, which, even after thirty years of study, are still relatively poorly known. I also have a thriving interest in the history of particle physics which, far from being a staid and clinical progression of ideas, is a fascinationg story of personalities, errors and insights.
