SSLC Elections 2026-27


Run for SSLC Student rep:

If you want to run to become the next SSLC student rep for the year 2026/2027. Please, fill in the form below and provide:

  • a Headshot/picture of yourself
  • a two-line summary about why you would make a good rep for your year at the SSLC.

  • What does an SSLC Student Rep do?
    • Gather feedback from classmates about modules, teaching, assessments, facilities, or workload.
    • Present these concerns, suggestions, or positive feedback in SSLC meetings with lecturers and administrators.

    • Attend SSLC meeting, usually once or twice a term.
    • Discuss issues with course leaders, department staff, and sometimes student union representatives.

    • Report back to students about what was discussed and any actions staff will take.

  • Being an SSLC rep can develop:

    • Communication skills

    • Leadership

    • Problem-solving

    • Experience representing other
