This seminar will outline a statistical approach to the design of microarray experiments, taking account of all the experimental phases involved from initial sample collection to assessment of gene expression. The approach being developed is also highly relevant for other high-throughput technologies. This seminar should be of interest to all those working with experiments using microarray and other high-throughput technologies, as well as to statisticians.
