The Departmental Conference for 2026 will take place on the Warwick campus from 22nd to 23rd April 2026.
Although this marks a departure from our long-standing Gregynog tradition, the ethos of the Warwick Statistics departmental conference remains unchanged: a dedicated space to showcase research developments in the field, exchange ideas, and reflect more broadly on the discipline’s future.
While we may be staying closer to ‘home’ this year, we want this –as always- to be an opportunity for Warwick PhD students and academics to bond and feel that sense of community that makes the Stats Department at Warwick so special and good to work at!
This year’s conference will include the following types of sessions:

We welcome contributions for talks and posters from PhD students as well as early-career members of staff (Postdocs and Assistant Prof).

Who is it for? Can I come? The conference organisation is led by our PhD students and is part of PhD training. Warwick Stats PhD students and affiliated PhD students (i.e. those supervised by a member of the department) are strongly encouraged to come.
All members of the department (staff, emeritus and honorary faculty) are also warmly welcome to join.
