Kenilworth Walk and Welcome Week
Stats (SSLC) and Maths (SGSLC) are combining a number of events this year to welcome new students to the departments. The two departments have a close working relationship and students often attend seminars etc within both departments.
As the new academic year starts, the current students have organised the traditional walk to Kenilworth Castle to welcome new students to the department. The walk is open to all current PGR students, incoming PGR students and staff in the department.
Additionally during Welcome Week there will be a variety of other events in the departments, some of which are open to all members of the departments and some of which are focused on PGR students and Postdocs, according to the following schedule:

For the Movie Night, the department will provide pizza. For the Kenilworth Walk, the department will provide some packed lunches.

You may still sign up for these events after this date, but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to provide refreshments for you.
