Call for Papers, Presentations, Posters and Important dates
The Workshop on Statistical Systems Biology will call for contributions in the form of paper submissions, spoken presentations and posters.
Instructions for submission of papers
In partnership with Statistical Applications in Genetics and Molecular Biology (SAGMB; De Gruyter) we are soliciting high-quality research articles for joint journal submission and presentation at the workshop.
For submitted papers, a selection committee will initially assess whether the paper falls within the broad remit of SAGMB. Selection will be based on the abstract only, so it is important that the abstract is well-written. It is possible that a paper will be highly relevant to the workshop whilst not falling in the remit of SAGMB; in this case the abstract will be considered for a contributed presentation only.
Abstracts that are deemed to fall within the broad remit of SAGMB will then be invited to submit the full paper for consideration at the journal. The journal will then handle author correspondance until a final decision is made. It is crucial that you indicate in the cover letter that the paper is being submitted in conjunction with the SSB workshop, else the reviewing process is not guaranteed to complete on schedule.
