P@W Young Researchers Workshop, 19th-23rd July, 2010

The Warwick Department of Statistics is pleased to announce the fourth Probability at Warwick Young Researchers workshop. Details about the three previous events in the series can be found here.

The workshop has the principal aim of bringing together young researchers working in probability (including postgraduate students, postdocs and other early stage career researchers), and will feature two lectured courses by invited speakers: Prof. Steve Evans (University of California, Berkeley) and Prof. Martin Hairer (University of Warwick). These courses will be accessible to graduate mathematicians and probabilists.

The exact schedule of the workshop is to be confirmed, but there will be a chance for participants either to give an informal introduction to an area of interest, or to present a more detailed account of their research (subject to timetabling constraints). Perhaps most importantly, though, the event will provide an invaluable opportunity for meeting and socialising with young probabilists from all over the UK and beyond.

The organisers would like to thank the Warwick Department of Statistics for their generous support.
