Dr Ibrahim Kaddouri
I am a postdoctoral research fellow working with Tom Berrett. I received my PhD in mathematical statistics from Université Paris-Saclay, completed at the Laboratoire de Mathématiques d’Orsay, under the supervision of Elisabeth Gassiat and Zacharie Naulet. Prior to this, I completed a Master's degree in Probability & Statistics at Université Paris-Saclay , and a "Diplôme d’ingénieur" in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from CentraleSupélec.

During my PhD, I worked on statistical inference for dependent data, with an emphasis on Hidden Markov Models and preferential attachment random graphs. In particular, I have studied clustering problems in nonparametric Hidden Markov Models, with the aim of understanding how dependence structures affect both methodology and theoretical guarantees compared to the classical i.i.d. setting. In parallel, I have investigated the fundamental limits of detection and localization of change-points in preferential attachment networks.
My current work centers on conditional independence testing in regression models. More broadly, my research interests include Hidden Markov Models, random graphs, nonparametric and high-dimensional statistics and statistical learning theory.
