Research Software Engineer

I work with Dr Heather Turner, who is part of the 2021 cohort of EPSRC/STFC Research Software Engineering (RSE) Fellows, on her fellowship "Sustainability and EDI (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion) in the R Project". This involves:

👩🏻‍💻 Contributing to the R project through code, infrastructure & outreach.
📦 Contributing to packages on the Comprehensive R Archive Network (CRAN).
🚀 Capacity-building in R and data science at Warwick University.
💪 Community-building in the R and RSE communities with a focus on EDI.

I provide R training in the department, with a different focus each term:

Term 2: Advanced R

Term 3: R Packages

The course website contains the full schedule as well as slides and other resources.

This course is being offered for the first time in 2022/23 and the website is being updated with material over the year.
