Dr Evandro Konzen
I am a Research Fellow working with Simon SpencerLink opens in a new window on the development of Bayesian statistical methodology to fit infectious disease models to partially observed data, especially at fine spatial scales.
Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at University of Exeter, where I worked with TJ McKinleyLink opens in a new window on Bayesian inference and prediction in complex infectious diseases systems.
I completed my PhD under the supervision of Jian Qing ShiLink opens in a new window at Newcastle University, where I worked on multi-dimensional function-valued processes. I did my Masters with Flavio ZiegelmannLink opens in a new window at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil, where I studied high-dimensional time series analysis.
