Juan Pablo Chávez Ochoa

I am a first year PhD student on the Warwick Statistics CDT program, working under the supervision of Prof. Aleksandar Mijatovic. Before coming to Warwick I completed a BSc. and an MSc. in Mathematics at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).

Research Interests

My interests lie in probability theory. In particular, my current research is concerned with the behaviour of reflected Brownian motion on generalized parabolic domains. Other topics that I find interesting are random processes on random environments, percolation theory, a diverse range of interacting particle systems such as contact processes, and the relationship between Probability and Analytic number theory.
